These tangy, delicious homemade Labneh balls are so easy to make, using only a couple of ingredients. They are preserved in olive oil and can last up to three months in your pantry!

Ingredients

  • 2 32 oz containers full-fat Greek yogurt
  • 4 cups extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 Tbsp Za’atar
  • 2 Tbsp Aleppo chili flakes
  • 2 Tbsp dried mint
  • 2 Tbsp sumac

Directions

  1. Mix salt into yogurt.
  2. Transfer into towel on strainer and let sit in fridge for 3 days.
  3. Shape into about 50 golf-sized balls.
  4. Put each spice into an individual bowl for rolling the balls around in. Coat each ball with one of the spices.
  5. Transfer to jar, completely cover with olive oil.
  6. Store in fridge and enjoy for a very long time!
